Philadelphia -7 over San Francisco

Thought about laying off this one with the short week after MNF appearance, but too many factors going in Eagles direction.

First, the Eagles are at home and fighting for Home Field Advantage. This club has been so close the past two years that they have the discipline to stay the course and not get too high or too low. Business as usual in Philly.

Second, playing at home in a 4:00 PM game allows the crowd to become even more involved. Probably the loudest crowd of the season today at the Linc.

Third, the 49'ers playing their fourth road game in five weeks including a pair of east coast (Baltimore, Philly) games. I don't care if you are professional or not, this takes its toll. Especially when playing for ZILCH.

Fourth, the Eagles are simply better coached and peaking in all phases at the right time. This club will frustrate Garcia all afternoon and into the early evening.

Seattle -14 over Arizona

Hate to give two touchdowns, but this spot is justified. Just as we were with Arizona last week at home, we will go away from them on the road.

Why? Look at these numbers below:
@Detroit 42-24 L
@Rams 37-13 L
@Cowboys 24-7 L
@Steelers 28-15 L
@Browns 44-6 L
@Bears 28-3 L
@49'ers 50-14 L

You do not have to beat me over the head to realize this club hates the road. The Seahawks with something to play for will not let off the throttle today. Roll it up early as they take out some road frustrations on the lowly Cardinals.

Plus they simply have more playmakers with better coaching and playing at home.
